The 13,000 square-foot skate park was designed to mimic elements of parking lots, street curbs and other skater-enticing areas. It includes staircases, benches, walls of various heights and a large concrete bowl.
The skate park is located in the southwest corner of Olympic Park, 1675 E. Old Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, 60194.
Hours of Operation
- Daily: 7AM to 11PM
- Weather Permitting
- The Skate Park is not lighted.
Guidelines
- This is an unsupervised skate park.
- Skateboarding, inline skating and bicycling are high-risk recreational activities with inherent risk of serious injury. Participants use this facility at their own risk.
- Wearing protective equipment, including elbow pads, knee pads and a helmet with chin strap is recommended for all users.
- All users are responsible for inspecting structures prior to use to ensure that the fixtures are safe for use. Do not use the skating structures if they are damaged. If you find the structures are damaged, contact the Schaumburg Park District at 847/985-2115.
- No personally-owned ramps, boxes or other devices shall be brought into the facility.
- Glass objects and containers are not allowed in the skating area at any time.
- Please be courteous to other users at all times.

Olympic Park is located approximately one-half mile east of the intersection of Old Schaumburg Road and Meacham Road
From the South:
Take I-355 N towards NW Suburbs to I-290 W. Exit IL-72/Higgins Road toward Woodfield Road./IL-58/Golf Road. Turn left at IL-72/Higgins Road to Martingale Road. Turn left on Martingale Road to Old Schaumburg Road. Turn right on Old Schaumburg Road, park is on the left.
From the North:
Take IL-53 S. Exit IL-72/Higgins Road. Cross over IL-72/Higgins Road and immediately follow sign on right to Martingale Road. Turn left on Martingale Road to Old Schaumburg Road. Turn right on Old Schaumburg Road, park is on the left.
From the West:
Take I-90 E to IL-53/I-290 Chicago West Suburbs/NW Suburbs. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for
I-290 E/IL-53 S/Chicago/W Suburbs. Continue to keep right and exit at IL-72/Higgins Road. Cross over IL-72/Higgins Road and immediately follow sign on right to Martingale Road. Turn left on Martingale Road to Old Schaumburg Road. Turn right on Old Schaumburg Road, park is on the left.
From the East:
Take I-90 W/NW Tollway towards Rockford. Take the I-290 E exit toward W Suburbs. Keep right and exit at IL-72/Higgins Road. Cross over IL-72/Higgins Road and immediately follow sign on right to Martingale Road. Turn left on Martingale Road to Old Schaumburg Road. Turn right on Old Schaumburg Road, park is on the left.
